Hanna Pompa, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor
Hanna sees primarily children, adolescents and young adults. She wants to hear your story, learn what challenges you are facing and what changes you are hoping to make. By providing a space to slow down, be present, and reflect and problem solve, Hanna hopes to join you where you currently are and collaborate with you to help you get to where you want to go. Change is unique to each individual and family. Hanna works from an integrative approach to psychotherapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Strength Based interventions, as well as Child Centered Play interventions to collaboratively work with clients and their families to explore needs and work together to create effective change and optimal functioning. Hanna earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. She has worked both in the clinic setting and the school setting and believes there is tremendous overlap in skills learned in therapy and positive impact on school success and fulfillment, as well as individual growth. Hanna has experience working with children and adolescents experiencing and being impacted by anxiety, depression, self harm and/or suicidal ideation/, adjustment difficulties, family issues, school related problems, emotional dysregulation, social skill deficiencies, and/or behavioral concerns. In Hanna’s free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son. Mountains, campfires and lakes bring her a lot of joy and getting to share those with her family is the best! Exploring and committing to change takes courage, vulnerability and work. Hanna looks forward to partnering with you on your journey
